Wishful Wanderings Travel experienced Disney’s brand-new island paradise: Lighthouse Point and Lookout Cay! After stepping off the ship, we took a pleasant stroll to the island (don’t worry—it’s shorter than it looks!). Our excitement soared as we headed straight for our first excursion: banana boating! 🚤🍌 Hold on tight—this isn’t your average boat ride! Zipping across the waves at thrilling speeds, we couldn’t stop laughing and screaming—it’s a heart-pounding ride you’ve got to try!

     Once we caught our breath, it was time to explore more of this beautiful island. We hopped on a tram to the other side, where the fun really begins. Friendly Cast Members welcomed us with smiles, and we grabbed our towels before hitting the family beach. And wow, this beach is pure paradise! Picture soft white sand, shimmering blue waters, and plenty of lounge charis with umbrellas.  🏖️

We picked up our snorkel gear at Flippers and Fins, found a cozy spot, and dove right into the crystal-clear water—it was perfect for swimming and playing in the sand!

     After a fun-filled swim, we refueled with lunch at True-True BBQ. 🍔🍗 From burgers and ribs to rice bowls and grilled salmon, there was something for everyone! Oh, and don’t miss the ice cream—it’s the perfect sweet treat on a sunny day. 🍦

      There’s so much more to do than just beach lounging. Head to the Goombay Culture Center to meet Bahamian artisans and make your own arts and crafts, or join in on the fun at RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration! 🎶💃 This colorful party brings Disney Characters and local performers together for music, dancing, and nonstop fun. Kids can splash around at Rush Out, Gush Out, a waterplay area with slides, fountains, and more!

     Adults, you’ve got your own slice of paradise too! Serenity Bay is a peaceful, adults-only haven with private cabanas, a quiet beach, and a special dining area. Kick back with a drink and soak in the relaxation! 🍹😌
